Dreampatch Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
Dreampatch is a game made by JKL Apps Studio, for players aged 13 and over. This policy explains, in plain words, what the game collects, why, and the choices you have.
The short version
- There is no chat. Players cannot send each other messages.
- Players cannot upload photos or make their own pictures. Avatars are premade.
- There are no ads and no advertising trackers.
- We do not sell personal information.
- You can play as a guest, without giving us an email address.
What we collect
When you play
- A random ID made for your copy of the game, and a Player ID such as DP-7K2M-9QX4.
- Your garden and game progress: your stars, levels, currencies, battle moves and results, and rankings.
- The username you type and the premade avatar and border you choose.
- Your friends list and friend requests, and the premade cheers and stamps you send and receive.
If you sign in with Google (optional)
- Your Google account's ID and email address. We use them only so you can open your garden on another phone. We do not use them to contact you about marketing.
If you buy something (optional)
- A record of your order: what was bought, when, and Google Play's order details. Google Play handles the payment. We never see your card details.
To keep the game working
- Error reports: what went wrong, the screen you were on, your game version, your device type, screen size and language.
- Server logs of requests, which can include your internet (IP) address, used for security and fixing problems.
If you tap Report a problem
- What you write, and a small picture of the game screen if you leave it attached, along with recent game logs if you allow it. Please do not include personal details in your report.
Reminders
- Raid reminders are made on your phone from the game's schedule. If you allow them, no notification data goes through an outside service.
What other players can see
Your username, avatar, border, level, league, Player ID, rankings and profile achievements can be seen by other players, along with your Dreamnest if someone visits it. Your email address is never shown to other players. Only friends can see your full friends list; other players see only the friends you share.
Why we use it
To run the game and save your progress, to keep play fair and stop cheating, to fix problems, to answer your reports, and to process purchases.
Who handles it for us
- DigitalOcean hosts our servers and database, in Singapore.
- Google provides sign-in, the Play Store and payments, under its own privacy policy.
We share information with others only if the law requires it, or to protect players from harm. Your information may be stored outside your own country.
How long we keep it
- Your account and garden: until you delete your account.
- Error reports and other records in our database: 90 days.
- Live server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited time set by them. We do not keep separate copies.
- Battle and action records: 180 days.
- Currency history (your game's Stardust, Moonpearls and other balances): 1 year.
- Problem reports, and any game records saved with them to look into the problem: 1 year.
- Purchase records: as long as the law requires, even after an account is deleted.
- Database backups: up to 7 days.
Your choices and your rights
- Delete your account: email [email protected] from any address and include your Player ID (Settings › Account). We may ask a question to check the account is yours, and we will delete it within 30 days. Deleting removes your garden and profile for good, apart from the records the law requires us to keep. Copies in our backups disappear within 7 days after that.
- See or correct your information: email us and quote your Player ID.
- Sign out: Settings › Sign out.
- Reminders: turn them off in Settings or in your phone's settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have more rights, such as under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012. To use them, contact us below.
Children under 13
Dreampatch is not meant for children under 13, and the game asks for an age when it first opens. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us with the Player ID if you have it, and we will delete it.
Keeping it safe
Information travels over encrypted connections, and our database is protected and backed up. No system is perfect, so if something serious ever happens, we will tell you as the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date, and tell players in the game about any important change.
